To those of you going through a journey unimaginable - know that you are not alone.
My journey is called Glenn: the Anatomy of My Divorce. Yours may have a different name, different set of circumstances, but still leave you in a quandary, wondering how you got into such an unbelievable predicament and wondering or doubting if you will survive.
I write to encourage you that survival IS possible.
Remember "A Boy Called It," and a host of other survival stories that are very unbelievable but very much true. I have included some data here for those who also would not believe the Anatomy of My Divorce if it was not in black and white before their eyes. And you may have similar things happening or that have happened in your life that you think no one would ever believe.
Be certain in the fact that survival is not only possible, but it is an inheritance that is ours to claim. And in the process of doing so we will become even more highly evolved creatures because of the journey of our lives.
Find your center, find your strength, and find a way to pay attention with 'open focus.' (I found the books, "The Open Focus Brain" to be very helpful. As well as the book, "Change the Way You See Everything.")
Take encouragement from those who have gone before us weathering many a storm, many an affair, many a job loss, treachery, health decline, emotional abuse or physical torture. And add the Anatomy of My Divorce to these stories of inspiration if you find it helpful to you. Creating it has certainly been a source of inspiration for me as I looked back at who I was and who I have become and am becoming still.
I wish you well on your journey, with the comfort of knowing that Good will prevail (read Why: an Allegory), that God's angels are at every turn to assist you; and with the conviction that that which does not kill us makes us stronger. :)
"You are a child of the universe, no less than the moon or the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt, the universe is unfolding, as it should."
